I just got back from my normal run to the park and back, and on my way there I was hit by a car.
The jerk didn't even acknowledge the fact that he almost backed over me. Honestly if it weren't for my quick reflexes he probably would have. He wasn't backing up slowly either and it's not like I'm hard to miss. I have super blond and, orange and turquoise dreadlocks down to my waist right now. Sigh. Oh LA.
I'm excited to go back home to a small town for a nice break from the city.
Oh, and I'm OK by the way. I have a sore arm from angrily smacking his trunk while he was trying to back over me. I'm pretty sure that's why he stopped backing up. His back bumper hit my thigh, but it's not bruised or anything. Mostly he just scared the crap out of me. Though, I'm sure I scared the crap out of him too. I yelled some choice words at him before going on my way.
So run accomplished. Today's work accomplished. Next is the family time. It's Pig's Birthday today. We are ordering Pizza and enjoying our short time here on earth together.
